Lots of 5 set matches for top teams this weekend.. but none of the top teams fell.. What do you think about tomorrow's top 10? Will it be the same?
My OPINION:
1. Penn State 2. Washington 3. UCLA 4. Nebraska 5. Oregon 6. Stanford 7. USC 8. Texas 9. Hawaii 10. Florida

Minnesota will be #10 tommorrow. Book it! In what way does Florida deserve to be #10 anyways? They went to 5 against a terrible Kentucky team and are 100+ votes behind Minnesota.

Minnesota has no reason to fall, at all. So what they went to 5 with MSU. Nebraska went to 5 with Indiana. Does that mean they should fall too? Irrelevant arguments. The Gophers are a top 10 team. Stamp it.

Stamp it. Who made that argument.. my Top 10 was clearly labeled as MY OPINIONS.. not my predictions. If a prediction, I doubt the coaches ding a team for a five-set win, especially on the road. The 15-minute rule mitigates against analysis that deep. If an opinion (as opposed to a prediction opinion), however, people are free to give less credit for a five-set win (and less of a debit for a five-set loss). As someone noted, however, Florida also went five.

As someone noted, however, Florida also went five. Who knows. There is no steadfast rule saying a team shouldn't get penalized for a close win or a 5 set loss to a team that they were thought to be a lot better than. That at least indicates that the gap wasn't as wide as previously thought. We as fans make judgements of teams based on how they play each other and a close win is different than a blowout.

I predict Russ Rose will vote for the ONLY undefeated team left in the entire nation to be #1. I predict the majority of voters in the poll will NOT be as smart as Russ Rose.
