Well, snickers, you could hope that Ashley Engle, tired of hot weather and Elliott's seemingly inept coaching, decides to transfer to Minnesota for next season. I think she is a player along the lines of what you are wanting.

I agree about Megan... she has improved leaps and bounds ahead of where she was playing last year. Plus, she has the senior knowledge of the game so she can (and has been) providing the key plays at times where the Gophers really need it. Plus, her serving really gave MI a tough time last night...hopefully she continues to improve through the whole season.
Michigan seems to be a great team, capable of pulling of some good wins - but in game three, instead of coming out fired up to win - they seemed tired and defeated at the start.... that seems to be a coaching issue.

Minnesota is done for 2007. Unless someone changed their mind.
Setter next year? It's Hartmann.

Is Lyndsey Miller playing in the middle or on the outside this season?

I don't get it. The article says Jaeckel is a Sr., which would make her a 2007 recruit. But you're saying we are done for '07. Says she's considering Tenn, MN, UCLA, and Florida......HOWEVER, I just read that she is a young senior and doesn't plan to enter college until '08 and prepvolleyball.com says it wouldn't be surprised if she lands in the top 10 of that class. Would be wonderful if we could land her and Brandi MB from Lakeville North, who will be another top 10 recruit of '08.

Is Lyndsey Miller playing in the middle or on the outside this season? Miller was opposite Bruz. Hit mostly from the left, but did come into the middle a few times and ran at least one slide, which Roehrig blocked. She comes out in the back row for Bower. Michigan came out in game 2 with a bunch of shoot sets to the outside. Maybe a little higher than shoot sets. Not very effective.
