I like the Gophers chances in this one. Pavan's been playing really well and Hodge is not your usual frosh. And you know Montano wants to win in her last trip to Happy Valley.
Wish I could be there, but Senator Wellstone has asked me to help on some things he's preparing for President Kerry.

Hawai'i? I thought we lost all of you in that hurricane back in '04. Can we send help?

On a side note, I've always felt that the loss of Paul Wellstone was when everything really changed... that it was the tipping point that sent Congress into complete drumbeating moronville.
I certainly didn't agree with all his policy positions, but he was often a voice of reason and a strong leader on the Senate floor. I truly believe the political state of this country the last five years would have been noticeably different if the plane carrying him and his family hadn't crashed. But now it's one of those alternate-history things we'll never know.
I'm now going to stop typing and have a few moments of silence for Paul Wellstone Sheila Wellstone Marcia Wellstone
...
Rest In Peace

The eagle has roosted on Mount Rushmore, and Mick Haley has prepared a pumpkin creme brulee. The special at "Nina's" tonight is the pepper-seared Alaska salmon, which comes with a house salad with jalapeno and mint vinegarette, with sourdough croutons. They have the freshest pepper in town. I repeat, they have the freshest pepper in town.

I was a page in a library from my senior year in high school through college. I kid you not.
How's that for defining oneself? (R)uffda! As significant as spit in the ocean.
Now I'm bummed. Thanks a lot.

This will be short work for Hodge, Fawcett and the rest of the Ninnie Lions. Penn State is loaded and Glass keeps getting better. Remember, Minnesota was down, late in game 5, on the home court, to Michigan State. I am not sure they can match up with PSU.

If it makes you feel any better, I had a dream about you last night. I dreamt you were here helping me mow my lawn. However, your mower deck was set too high (it was a riding lawnmower), and you were trying to lower it, but your mower flew away. It did come back, however, but then it kept running away from you, and eventually jumped into the water (it was a dog, at that point).
Seriously. This was my dream. We never got the lawn mowed.
My wife says I'm too obsessed with volleyball. Apparently, it's just Ruffda I am obsessed with.

Crap. That reminds me -- I need to water the dog.
And get a dog.

So instead of debating the scores, let debate time of match. I say it's over in 98 minutes. (And I still love my Gophers.)

The over/under at the media table for the Purdue/PSU match was 1:42
Unfortunately, I took the under, and got it right (1:25 or so)
