Congrats to Stanford for taking down two undefeated teams in 2 nights. Reminds me of 2002. (I know it wasn't back to back nights when they beat USC and Hawaii, but it was all in the same week if I remember correctly so just as impressive)
It is great so see Stanford playing consistent volleyball, they are my 2nd favorite team.
Richards is the player of the match but both Kehoe and Akinradewo had great performances.
It is nice to see the Cardinal win a high level match without Barboza at her best.

Yeah but not the best nite last nite. But damn, she is really improving, and that is scary.

Stanford should climb to #3 beating the 4th and 3rd ranked teams back to back on the road which is not easy!

I think Franci should get some recognition. She has really amazed me with her improvements. She is now a real offensive threat and a solid block as well. And last nite had several great digs.

Stanford should climb to #3 beating the 4th and 3rd ranked teams back to back on the road which is not easy! But the problem is they were swept by Washington, which makes the polls complicated. And they have more losses than USC and UCLA

It doesn't sound like Waller had a good game, it sounded like Carter of UCLA was hitting over and around her at will, or hitting it off her. I don't know if she's the answer to the RS problems of Stanford and they need to plug that up to be more solid. It sounded like UCLA was preferentially setting to that side.
And if Waller isn't the answer, it certainly doesn't seem like Okogbaa is yet either. What is with that? I thought she was highly touted? You wouldn't guess that from watching her warm up and definitely not from watching her play.

And they have more losses than USC and UCLA Washington won a close match against unranked Washington State. Stanford won both matches againts 2 formerly undefeader team ranked above them. Washington is only 45 points ahead of Stanford in the current poll so I wouldn't be surprised to see Stanford leapfrog over Washington to take the #3 spot next week. It ought to still be pretty close between the two of them for #3 and #4 either way though.

I think with the wins this weekend, Stanford will leapfrog to #3, and they certainly deserve that ranking. The team is balance, with productive and efficient MBs that open the net for the OHs. And Barboza is playing amazing vball, hitting all the shots in the book. She is a fun player to watch.

Nebraska's shouldn't be #1 because they are undefeated hahah look at their schedule talk about WEAK!! If the NCAA's are done right I would think Nebraska may end up being a 3rd seed. Both Pablo and Rich Kern DONT have Nebraska at #1......

Congrats to Stanford..........I always thought they were the team to beat this year in the PAC 10. And the Pac-10 coaches voted it that way!
