Ok...Purdue is over 1/2 way thru the schedule and confusion as to why they are still running a 6-2. Know that putting the bigger block and keeping the hitters in the game makes the 6-2 the practical choice but..1)the Big Block has not been there..2) Dildine getting hit over every match..3) Shondell setting seems suspect and the opposing middles don't have to stay home on the setter and thus get a head start on the double block...4)Merlau a defensive liability in the backrow. Is it time for Purdue to head back to a 5-1?

Which setter do you propose they use in a 5-1?
You've made negative comments regarding both.
IMO: At this point from what I've seen neither setter is at the level of Dargan and able to provide enough benefit in running a 5-1 over the extra offense they're getting out of running a 6-2 by always having 3 attackers in the front row. Moving to a 5-1 they'd have 3 rotations with only 2 attackers plus a setter that isn't likely to improve their blocking over what it is currently doing.

They ain't running a 5-1 with a 5-foot, 4-inch setter. I'd assume he meant Gray.

I was alternate watching Minn/Purdue game on ESPN2 and NFL football. Switching back to Minn/Purdue in game 4, I noticed that Dildine was the OH and Miller (whom I thought was hitting in game 1) the libero. Did they change those players between games?

Nope, Miller was libero for the whole game. However, Dildine was introduced as the libero for ESPN's introductions.

Intros were all wrong as they had two setters listed as starting and no right sides. I suspect Dave wanted his daughter in the intros although she didn't start either ESPN match.
