Let's see....Minnesota beat unranked Indiana and 9th ranked Purdue. I think they will stay right where they are at 23.

And Wisconsin will move up to 10 and Purdue will fall to 11.

Just a guess. The top 10 I'm pretty confident about, if not the order, at least the teams. The rest, who knows.
1.Nebraska 2.PSU 3.Stanford 4.UCLA 5.Washington 6.USC 7.Florida 8.Texas 9.Cal 10.Utah 11.Wisconsin 12. LSU 13. Minnesota 14. Hawaii 15. Purdue 16. Santa Clara 17. Missouri 18. BYU 19. NMSU 20. Cal Poly 21. Ohio 22. San Diego 23. Oklahoma 24. Tennessee 25. Duke

In all seriousness, there is no way that Minnesota will go from 23 to 13. But I like the way you think!

Anyone think Alabama will be in the top 25 with wins over LSU and the lady vols? I almost put them in, but think they'll be just outside.

You really think Santa Clara stays at #16? Not sure, didn't they loose both this week?

You really think Santa Clara stays at #16? Not sure, didn't they loose both this week? They beat Gonzaga 3-2 and Portland 3-0. Going 5 against a now 5-14 Gonzaga team probably doesn't impress, but they still won.

Would Oregon move into the top25 after sweeping both the Arizona schools? They've only lost 3 times

Going 5 against a now 5-14 Gonzaga team probably doesn't impress, but they still won. For some reason, they have traditionally always had problems with the Pacific Northwest road trip, as they were taken to five last year by Gonzaga, and the previous year as well. It's imperative that Santa Clara beat San Diego next week to keep them in the WCC race, though it will be a tough order, especially since Lindsy Evans is still learning the ropes as a setter under SCU's system and Coach Wallace is still trying to find a role for Brittany Lowe and Nina Sevastopolous. Once Crystal Matich comes back, it will solve a lot of problems, with Evans going back to the right side and Lowe manning the left side with Kim McGiven. I think Stanford moves to No. 3, behind Nebraska and Penn State. UCLA and USC follow, with Washington at the No. 6 position. Cal moves down to probably No. 9, giving the Pac-10 five teams in Top 10. I think the Pac-10 could get three teams into the Final Four, but it will all depend on match-ups, of course.

Would Oregon move into the top25 after sweeping both the Arizona schools? They've only lost 3 times They may get more votes, but I don't expect them to be ranked this time. Wins over the Arizona schools don't get much notice this year. The AVCA's summary: (from www.avca.org/collegiate/DIresults/divisioniresults10-15-06.pdf)Top 25 Head-to-Head Results#1 Nebraska def. #15 Missouri 3-0 #3 UCLA def. #7 California 3-0 #3 UCLA lost to #6 Stanford 2-3 #4 USC lost to #6 Stanford 0-3 #4 USC def. #7 California 3-1 #6 Stanford def. #4 USC 3-0 #6 Stanford def. #3 UCLA 3-2 #7 California lost to #3 UCLA 0-3 #7 California lost to #4 USC 1-3 #8 Florida def #13 LSU 3-0 #9 Purdue lost to #14 Wisconsin 0-3 #9 Purdue lost to #23 Minnesota 1-3 #11 Hawai’i lost to #25 N. Mexico State 2-3 #13 LSU lost to #8 Florida 0-3 #14 Wisconsin def. #9 Purdue 3-0 #15 Missouri lost to #1 Nebraska 0-3 #23 Minnesota def. #9 Purdue 3-1 #25 New Mexico State def. #11 Hawai’i 3-2 Top 25 Unranked Losses#16 Ohio State lost to Illinois 0-3 #16 Ohio State lost to Northwestern 2-3 #18 Tennessee lost to Kentucky 2-3 #18 Tennessee lost to Alabama 3-1 I see Purdue droping a few slots; they had a bad weekend. And Highlander's skeptisicm to the contrary, Minnesota will rise at least one slot because of Tennesee's loss; they should rise more because of the win over Purdue. Cal had a bad weekend too, but I only expect them to switch places with Florida. Update: I think Wisconsin may make #10. I was thinking Utah, but no, that's too much of a stretch.

I don't like the stuff in the middle, but based on how the ranking movements seem to go, here's my guess. (Note, this isn't what I think it should be. It's what I think it will look like.)
1 Nebraska 2 Penn State 3 Washington 4 Stanford 5 UCLA 6 Southern California 7 Florida 8 California 9 Texas 10 Wisconsin 11 Utah 12 LSU 13 Purdue 14 Santa Clara 15 BYU 16 Missouri 17 Hawai'i 18 Cal Poly 19 Ohio 20 San Diego 21 Ohio State 22 Minnesota 23 Tennessee 24 Oklahoma 25 New Mexico State
