It could be that Big12/Big10/Hawai'i fans actually seem to care about their schools, often far out of proportion to their AVCA ranking. How many of those five Pac10 teams in the top 10 consistently draw more than 1,000 fans?
Plus Big10/Big12 always has half their matches in the middle of the week. Pac10 matches are mostly over the weekend. DUH.

Plus, the Big 10 and Big 12 had some interesting matches last night. It's a slow weekend in the Pac 10. The interesting matches are Oregon at California tonight and USC/UCLA tomorrow. The others either have a ranked team heavily favored to win, or feature only unranked teams.
Don't worry, you'll get your threads some other time. The "Bigs" just had their turn for a big night.

When does the Pac10 season start, anyhow? Pac 10 has a longer season than other conferences--maybe three or four Pac 10'ers keep playing into the December 15 weekend and do so in the midwest so as to give those faraway fans a chance to watch live VB at its highest level. ;D ;D

Well, let's see how many fans from the Pac-10 schools routinely post here:
Arizona - 1, maybe 2 Arizona State - 0 Cal - 1 or 2 (but BearClause is a BIG one!) Stanford - 4-5 Oregon - 0 Oregon State - 0 USC - 2, I think UCLA - 1 or 2, and I'm being generous Washington - 2 or 3, and only after the championship Washington State - 0
I'm not going by the Volleyball Fanbase thread. That info is misleading. I just wanted to count regular posters, not the infrequent posters.
Not too many.

Washington - 2 or 3, and only after the championship I beg to differ with you on that assertion.

Too much Big 12 & Big 10! You're right. I haven't heard much about the Missouri Valley Conference lately.

Washington - 2 or 3, and only after the championship I beg to differ with you on that assertion. Just to pick some names from the Fanbase thread, there's you, me, Huskyfan, prosem1, and pedro that seem to at least post in the game threads. There are a lot more "undeclared" people who follow Washington and post regularly on the board. I wasn't here right after the championship. I suppose there was some noise then?
