Hey everyone. I bought a generic Wal-Mart outdoor volleyball playing system (net, ball), but it's crapy.
I was wondering if anyone knows/have a volleybal net that is durable and long lasting. I know there's expensive one's out there, but it seems my family/friends want to play at least once a month, so I don't mind investing in a great system.
thanks

I'm not sure that a great outdoor system has ever been truly built.
I've been around many park-n-sun type systems, the crappy combo vb + badminton systems, and some custom made systems.
You can spend anywhere from $30-thousands on a net system based on what you'd like to do with it. I built my own once that cost about $60 (only used a $20 net).
I suggest taking a quick link at VolleyHut.com if you're only interested in the net or accessories to make your system better. There are people that specialize in custom setups, but I'm not sure I've been overly impressed with them yet.
No matter what you go with, I highly recommend getting your own packaging system. I used my net daily, and there was nothing worse than taking more than 4-minutes to set up your court because of tangles, knots, missing pieces.
Good luck!

I got a used indoor net and poles from a local high school when they bought new equipment. They were free, and although they weren't pretty, they lasted for years.

Go to an AVP event in a work van...make sure to get there early when they are setting up..and bring a lead pipe...then run fast...oh and wear a ski mask.

I'd not heard of that. I hope they'll send me a video, per my request!

Cobra is one of the top of the line? Wow! I have a Cobra net system that my daughter won at the Volleyball Festival (Davis) many years ago (best vertical). She's now two years out of college and we've never touch the thing.
