The 1st 2 games were really good. Game 3 was not. I'd still like to know why Stoyanova didn't play. She's an upperclassmen and they could've used her if she was healthy, esp. late in the 1st 2 games.

LSU sweeps, 30-28, 30-26, 30-19. Impressive win for them. They could be very dangerous in the NCAAs. The committee should be happy to have another deserving host school in the south.

Tennessee.... now do you see why we called you a "flash in the pan?" You can still be fans and stick around here, lunatics, although, your cockiness is not being backed up by your team. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Maybe time to admit you're just drinking Beam. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Or worse. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'm guessing your numbers are dropping a bit, yeah? I was going to ask the same question about Stoyanova. She didn't play much in the Gainesville match either, as I recall.

Tennessee is young and this match was less about them not being good as it is LSU being very good. I happen to think LSU is a legit top 10 team. They are very good and the SEC from top to bottom has never been more competitive.

They are very good and the SEC from top to bottom has never been more competitive. Maybe it's just my perspective but I didn't see LSU as playing like a legit top 10 team.LSU is close to the top 10 now, and will probably be a top 10 team tomorrow (with Cal sinking fast) but that is probably because not many other teams can claim, or hold on to a top 10 spot at the moment. Sure the Tigers were better than Tennessee but that isn't saying much. The Tigers looked rather slow and sloppy at times. I will however, defer to your opinion on them as an SEC fan who has seen them play more than I.

It is so lame saying that we were a flash in the pan already, the season is not over yet... We are now 15-7, and we will be 19-7 after our next homestand. Then we travel to GA and SC, we will then be 21-7 when florida comes to town.... we sitll have a chance, dont give up on the Lady Vols!!

Tennessee is going to be great. They have a lot of young players gaining extremely valuable experience right now. 4 losses on the road to good teams while working on different line-ups. Remember the Final Four team last year went through a similar learning period and fell out of the top 25 before they sarted knocking off top ten teams.
The future at Tennessee is [glow=red,2,300]very bright [/glow]and don't be surprised when they make another charge.
[glow=red,2,300]GO LADY VOLS! [/glow]

The difference is that they had a lot of established stars last year. They do have a bright future, but they probably won't be back to where they were at the end of last year for a while. Blum will be hard to replace next year; she has really improved her offense and is a very strong blocker.
