Well we had a successful Most Annoying Fan Chant thread so I figured we should have one about favorite chants/cheers/heckles. So what are some personal favorites?

Last week, when Stanford played Oregon, Bryn Kehoe dumped a ball, the band chanted, "You got kehoed." I liked it, especially because the band was at Oregon's end that game and the players looked rather flustered.

I thought when Texas chanted "Sarah's better!" was pretty clever and it was non-vulgar. According to the paper Rachael turned around and gave them a piece of her mind after she aced the Longhorns. Didn't catch that part on TV but they did show a shot of the Nebraska bench when Texas subsequently took a timeout. The whole bench was laughing pretty hard about it.
Nebraska also does a "Roof Roof" chant when the Huskers get a block. This in of itself isn't unique, but what was pretty cool was last year during Senior Night, they introduced Melissa Elmer and the crowd greeted her with "Roof Roof". It was a poignant spontaneous moment that I am sure Elmer will cherish.

My favorite chant is chanting "U-S-A" when the other team has a foreign player serving. We are also completely oblivious to the irony of doing this and yet chanting positive things when Yulia gets a kill...
My second favorite chant is "M-I-Z.... Z-O-U"

I know this is a volleyball site but the best chant I heard of this year is when Nebraska was losing to USC in football the Trojan fans chanted "start your tractors"....doesn't quite work for volleyball though!

How would it be any different between football and volleyball? I think they were implying that Nebraska wouldn't lose to USC in volleyball.

Years back, when I was coaching an 8th grade team, I was hanging out waiting for our 7th graders, who played before us, to finish their match. They were killing some team, and at some point when the score was out of hand, the bench broke out with:
COLorado ROCKies ARizona CACtus WE think YOUR team NEEDS a lot of PRACtice!

Growing up in Hawaii, we had some totally cruel chants.
"U-G-L-Y, you don't got no alibi. You UGLY! Oo, oo, You UGLY!"

I'm so focused on the game, I am oblivious to chants and jeers around me. That's how focused I am. The intensity of my concentration generates so much heat and energy, it could power a small town like Dodge, Kansas.

Ok, I just got back from a high school match and when the visiting team made a hitting error the students chanted "FUN-DA-MENTALS!!!" It was pretty funny.
