The Seattle Times is doing full coverage for this week's matches as well. UW Volleyball | Huskies face two key matchesThere's little that's actually new here. Stevie Mussie will need surgery on her knee after the season's over. They're working on blocking and on reducing unforced errors -- typical McLaughlin quotes. But please read the article; the more hits they get, the more articles we see.

The only thing that can stop her is a bad pass or set. Which doesn't usually happen with Spicer as the setter. Spicer is very possibly the best setter in the country.....

I think UW goes 1-1. UCLA wins in 5, USC goes down in 4. Spicer is a freak.

I also say Courtney Thompson is the Best Setter in country right now not Spicer. She's probably 3rd after Hawai'i's Kanoe Kamana'o.

I guess USC's anticipating the match too. Women of Troy volleyball look to put down Huskies once again (CSTV/Daily Trojan) Practice leading up to the Washington road trip this week has been especially demanding for the Women of Troy.
"We've had a few really intense, high-level practices this week," Copenhagen said. "I can't remember practice like it since the week before we played Washington the last time." Bring 'em on!

So they didn't practice very hard before the Stanford match? And after getting their butts whipped by Stanford, they still didn't practice very hard before the UCLA match?? Great coaching.

SPICER, IS THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY !!!!! IN MY EYE'S... I also think Spicer is the best setter in the country. And I'm a big fan of Washington volleyball, but Spicer is incredible, win or lose.
