I thought this was about VB couples, like Patty and Mike Dodd, or Jerritt Elliott and Sarah Silvernail. Yeah, I thought so as well although I have no clue who those people are. Yikes. If she's a player, I should be locked up. Or, at the very least, held in contempt. Some high school players are 18.

5) Allow your wife to attend the Gopher match tonight while you coach her team and cheer on hypothetical player #1 at the same time.

I'd shut her (hypo player #1) down. You've seen me coach. I have more tricks than a whore in Hollywood.
Hmmm. Not sure that was the right turn of phrase...

I thought this was about VB couples, like Patty and Mike Dodd, or Jerritt Elliott and Sarah Silvernail. It can be, if you'd like. The Rosens are another. The whosits at Missouri. The Cindy Fredericks. IB and BiK.

I thought this was about VB couples, like Patty and Mike Dodd, or Jerritt Elliott and Sarah Silvernail. Yeah, I thought so as well although I have no clue who those people are. Patty Orozco-Dodd and Mike Dodd are long-time beach players. Mike used to do commentary for FSN broadcasts of Pac-10 VB as well as for NBC during the 2004 Olympics. Mike also has a silver medal from the 1996 Olympics in beach VB. Jerritt Elliot is the current head coach at Texas, and was the interim head coach at USC (where he recruited most of the players who dominated during their championship years). Sarah Silvernail-Elliot was an All-American player at Washington State and a club coach in Austin. Minor edit: wrong maiden name, so I corrected it.

I think Mrs. IB might object to that.

Nice you qualified it with "might". She is a bright individual after all, which is more than we can say for the dyspeptic duo.

My wife says my marriage is now "hypothetical."

My wife says my marriage is now "hypothetical." Tell her that its her fault that she's not good enough to coach the Gophers because then you could go to her match and watch the Gophers.

Sure. I'll try that. Back in a sec.

Nope. That didn't help.

Sure. I'll try that. Back in a sec. .... Nope. That didn't help. Ok, thanks. I just wanted to see if it worked in case I have to use a similar argument later in life.

And she obviously doesn't read Volleytalk My wife posted (with my screen name, the irony) that I can't cheer for idaho tonight. Thankfully, she isn't a coach and we can at least go to the same match. Its going to be a much different situation when we are in Idaho and cheering for the Hawaii-Idaho match... I'll have people to cheer with there!!!
