I hate it when teams like Wisconsin (who is a great program) rush the court. I think that is so small time. Would Nebraska, Stanford, Washington, PSU, Florida rush the floor if their team beat a #2 team? Answer...........no. They see themselves at that level. If UNI or Indiana did it, I would say fine, not Wisconsin. Ok, this isn't basketball or football... so no, I don't think it's that weird... on top of that, 4 of the 5 teams you mentioned have won national championships in VB while UW has not, and it was only about 30 students who rushed it while on national TV... I'm guessing Halloween and booze was also a factor.

OK, I feel better about that. I had a picture of mass hysteria among the Badger nation. You just have to act like you have been there before, especially if you have. And they have.

The Wisconsin students looked great and all with costumes and such. It's something you don't see often, that's for sure.

Stanford rushed the court two years ago when they beat washington, and I mean it was a big time rush. but I have to admit, that was an amazing comeback, after losing game 2 30-11 and had to fight off like 9 game points in game 3.

When is Booze not a factor in Madison. That's why I love the place. I would be heading over to the essenhaus for a boot right now if I could!

USC players rushed the court in 2002 when they came back from 9-14 to beat Stanford in 5-game thriller. Such celebrations happen!

That's players. I love to see teams celebrate, no matter who, what, where or when.

Dolgner not only had 12 kills hitting .611, but also had 6 digs and 4 aces.
Simpson set beautifully tonight... I can't wait to see it on TV. Her middles dominated on the slide.
That all helped, and Hodge finally looked like a freshman.

I think I've seen Purde twice in the past month or so on Sunday.

I would rush Florida's court but not enough people would do it and I'd be arrested quickly because I'd have to hop toe guard rail, jump over press row and since I'd be one of a handful doing it security would nab me in a second. There have been a few basketball games wherfe people planned to rush the court but they put two lines of security in between press row and the court.

I think I've seen Purde twice in the past month or so on Sunday. I have a feeling ESPN does have a deal with the Big 10 as most of the matches in the last few years have involved the Big 10 teams. Most likely because the Fox Regional Sports stations have been picking up the other conferences. Pac-->Pac-10 teams FSN Midwest--->Big 12 and then FSN Atlantic--->SEC and some ACC games. I can't wait to see this match and the Washington/UCLA match, even though they are delayed. Its sad too that the only way you're going to most of the match being aired by ESPN is if its a sweep. Fox usually allots 2 hours. Other matches I saw that will be aired include Texas/Colorado and Ohio St/Wisconsin <----will be interesting to see how the Badgers do against Ohio St. after tonight.

The match is already available at uwbadgers.com in an archived video... click on audio/video on the left side of the homepage and then choose archived webcasts. The UW/PSU VB match should be one of the first options when you scroll down. UW had some timely blocks, and UW's leftsides completely dominated the match against PSU's leftsides. The badgers made some insane digs in the backrow and Simpson set a great match. I'm surprised Jeffers only hit .250 because she had some rockets.
