Wow, quick turnaround time. You have to wait two days at least to get the archived video of the Nebraska mathces (if at all) plus these announcers sound a lot more professional than earlier in the season.

I just fast forwarded it to the end...and sure enough a bunch of fans rushed the floor. Kind of funny.

This will be interesting. Fawcett and Harmotto have been out all week with injuries, Hodge struggling, UW is good, and it is in the fieldhouse. It's the Big Ten! Carlini's been struggling for the last three weeks with the bone bruise she got that caused her to miss the first PSU match...and Jeffers has been playing all year with two cracked vertebrae and a back brace. Both have missed multiple practices each week for the last month. Every team's banged up by this time. You lace up and play the game with what you got. Gutty game by the Badgers. It's nice to get rid of that lousy avatar I've had for the last three weeks.

(from the Wisconsin website)
"... and then to come back in the second was run our slide attack against their left-side blocker. We put a lot of pressure on them in a tough situation. - Pete Waiteā€¯
so did they ride the middles the rest of the match or just to get thru game2? why attack at two of the most physical leftsides out there?

They ran the middles quite a bit in the first game as well. It helped to spread out the PSU defense and was effective because PSU had trouble closing the block against the slide.

It also makes a huge difference for teams playing against the Badgers and Gophers this year to have to pick-n-choose which of the two teams to focus on in their practices this year or spend time focusing on both. As opposed to most years where Minnesota's opponents spend their entire week focusing on the Gophers and ignoring the Hawkeyes and similarly for the Badgers with the Wildcats as their normal travel partner. It would be nice to have the Badgers as the Gopher travel partner most years like Penn State and Ohio State have most years. The Big 10 planners could make Northwestern and Iowa normal travel partners.
