Hawaii fans can certainly hope for Klineman, but I think realistically speaking, you should not count her in the mix. Nor should you consider Otineru the passing savior. You are all stuck with what you got (minus Mason and Kamana'o). It's conceivable Hawaii will be worse next year. What is VT but a forum for open communication and sharing of thoughts? I'm being realistic.

I'm being realistic. That's not being realistic. Will Hawai'i be worse next year? probably not. The Wahine lose Kamana'o, Thurlby, and Mason but get Hittle, Thomas, and Keefe back. Hawai'i will be very solid in the middle with Sanders and Gregory back. Even wihout a Klineman and/or Ontineru, they Wahine should be okay. Working in Mafua will be the only real challenge. Next year's Wahine will have much more depth and more experience under their belt.

I was expecting all the doofs to lynch me.

That's one of the funniest thing I've seen on VT yet, thanks for the laughs (the captions are great... some of the doofs lol).

Wait, wait, wait! Don't lynch, Wolfgang yet. Read what I wrote in another string, then make a decision:

Interviewer/Wolfgang’s Diary: You grew up in Hawaii, didn’t you?
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: Yes, I did, and it was an experience I don’t ever want to go through again.
Interviewer/Wolfgang’s Diary: Why? Wasn’t Hawaii a nice place to grow up in?
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: No, not if you lived and went to school with Samoans.
Interviewer/Wolfgang’s Diary: What happened?
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: They picked on me. Every time I came out of the house, I practically had to run for my life. They always chased after me. I am never, ever going back to Hawaii.
Interviewer/Wolfgang’s Diary: Oh, sorry to hear that.
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: I am safe here in New York/San Jose, away from all those, those... Polynesians.
Interviewer/Wolfgang's diary: I hear you bought a house in Kilauea, Kauai/Hawaii Kai, Oahu.
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: (Breaking into a big smile) Yes, I did.
Interviewer/Wolfgang's diary: Tell me about it.
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: It came with a golf course/olympic-size swimming pool.
Interviewer/Wolfgang’s Diary: How often you go back there?
Bette Midler/Wolfgang: Every chance I have to get away from this rat race- I just love it there! Just got back yesterday. I will go back there tommorrow.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Of course I want to thank Wolfgang and BIK for their support. By the way, what is there to designing the awards? I just assumed it would be delivered as MANY small unmarked Franklins.

So I see hawaiigirl hasn't posted in this thread. So I guess IB's refuge is back for the time being.
