Except for 3rd game, games weren't as close as the scores. Utah dominated. Jason said in his post game comments they couldn't control the first ball. I guess that means they can't pass. So how come no back row recruits this year? Why didn't you give Lindsey Evans a schollie so she could play this year? She was your starting libero for two years, but you give a scholarship Jenna Judkins, your back up setter who had played in a total of 5 games previously. AND her father in the basketball coach at BYU-why does she need a scholarhship? Isn't most of her schooling paid for? She was staying with or without a scholarship. Bad decisions, I think. The win against Stanford might get BYU into the tourney. 5 game wins against Wyoming, TCU, and CSU show BYU's true colors. I thought they would be MUCH better this year. Utah, however, has failed to disappoint. I'm very impresssed with the direction of their program-coach, players, etc. Same can't be said about BYU.

people keep thinking Utah is overrated, but they are a real top 10 team and they could really go deep in the tournament. I really like Salvo and Toone.

And they are doing it with a true freshman setter. I think Salvo is the MWC Player of the Year, and possibly a 3rd team All-American. Are the All-American teams picked before, during, or after the NCAA tourney? If Utah goes deep in the tourney, she could move up to 2nd team. Toone is just an awning when she blocks. She has passed Lindsay Harsock at BYU as the best blocker in the conference.
