And I don't care if Logan was the biggest prima donna in the world, she carried Stanford to the title in 2001 and back to the finals the next year. That is impressive.

I know, but I was using it to further my point about Bonds. It is great if your superstar is well liked, but I would rather have a great player who maybe isn't the nicest person in the world than no great player if I am wanting to win. You have to respect greatness, even if you don't like the person.

Went to alot of games and not once did I ever witness Metcalf being at all difficult. I could sense however that the staff and players were growing irritated with Cepero.

Volleyball is different from baseball with talent trumping chemistry. With 6 girls in that small of an area, they had better be best friends or the chemistry isn't there and we all know without chemistry you don't win the big games. You can have 6 of the best players on the floor, but if they are all working on getting MVP and hoping the team also wins, it won't do you a lick of good. I tip my hat to anyone who is crazy enough to coach girls because it always seems like they always have issues.

Back to the original post. No... There has never been two National Players of the Year on the court from the same team. Nebraska should be a heavy favorite if all goes well with injuries etc in 07. Probably would be considered the greatest amount of talent on one team in NcAA history.

Still, while Barry Bonds might be a jerk, don't you still want him on your team if you are trying to win? I think chemistry can help a team win, . . . When you mention Barry Bonds, the part about chemistry is certainly true.

Logan Tom and Kerri Walsh of Stanford were there at the same time. And so were Logan Tom and Oganna Nnamani. Or did you mean two POYs in the same team after both have received them?

Nancy's from Iowa. How could she possibly be difficult? Music: Meredith Willson Lyrics: Meredith Willson Book: Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey Premiere: Thursday, December 19, 1957
Townspeople: Oh, there's nothing halfway About the Iowa way to treat you, When we treat you Which we may not do at all. There's an Iowa kind of special Chip-on-the-shoulder attitude. We've never been without. That we recall. We can be cold As our falling thermometers in December If you ask about our weather in July. And we're so by God stubborn We could stand touchin' noses For a week at a time And never see eye-to-eye. But what the heck, you're welcome, Join us at the picnic. You can eat your fill Of all the food you bring yourself. You really ought to give Iowa a try. Provided you are contrary, We can be cold As our falling thermometer in December If you ask about our weather in July. And we're so by God stubborn We can stand touchin' noses For a week at a time And never see eye-to-eye. But we'll give you our shirt And a back to go with it If your crops should happen to die.
Farmer: So, what the heck, you're welcome, Glad to have you with us.
Farmer and Wife: Even though we may not ever mention it again.
Townspeople: You really ought to give Iowa Hawkeye Iowa Dubuque, Des Moines, Davenport, Marshalltown, Mason City, Keokuk, Ames, Clear Lake Ought to give Iowa a try!
