Ohio State has been playing bad lately, they better get it together before the tournament. I don't think that OSU's participation in the tournament is a given, at least not at this point. Three more losses in the conference might sink that ship, and I can see them losing to PSU, Purdue, maybe one of the Michigans, or even Illinois.

I agree....I dont think they have much left of a season. They have not played well and I dont foresee many changes. A tournament birth would be a gift.

10-10 Big10 teams are rarely left out.

Only once since Penn State joined the Big 10 in 1991 and the conference went to 20 matches has a conference team with a 10-10 record not been given a bid to the tournament and at least once a conference team with a 7-13 record was given a bid.

Ohio State needs to get a couple more impressive wins, though. That non-conference slate will impress no one.

Depending on what you consider an impressive win they've only really got 2 chances for that to happen.
The host Purdue this week I believe and they host Penn State on a Wednesday night in a week or two.
I guess with Michigan State now above them in the conference standings a win over them could count as well.
With the Penn State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Purdue all at least 3 matches ahead of the rest of the pack it isn't looking real good for the conference to get more than 5-6 teams selected this year if the top 4 keep getting wins over the other team through the rest of the conference season.
Michigan State at 6-6 is now in 5th place.
Next weekend will be big for Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Both of the Michigans are capable of getting upsets at home, Wisconsin has been erratic on the road and the Gophers didn't have easy victories over either of the Michigans at home so that will be 4 interesting matches to track.
