I'm not sure why Hawaii dropped as much as they did (although to be fair, it's a tight region, so a little drop in points can make a big drop in spots).
Yeah, they played 4 game matches at home, but they were still pretty lopsided. I wouldn't have expected much of a drop, normally.
And I can't blame the Hawaii correction, because that is active all year long...(that's a joke, BTW)

Pablo has the Big Ten ranked: 3. Penn State 5. Wisconsin 8. Minnesota 18. Purdue 19 Michigan State 28. Ohio State
That seems too low for Purdue. I would expect them to be bunched closer together. (Wi/Minn/PU)

They'll be helped when they play OSU-PSU-Wisconsin-Minnesota. Minnesota and Wisconsin have each played PSU twice.
I'm assuming. I wouldn't actually know diddly or squat about Pablo.

(Wi/Minn/PU) On what basis? You know I am all about the Boilers, but exactly what about their results suggests they should be close to Minnesota and WI? 3 game sweeps over Iowa and Indiana don't compare with wins or even a 5 game loss to Penn St, especially when coupled with fairly routine sweeps against OSU. As Ruffda notes, Purdue has an opportunity this weekend to help themselves a lot. A win on the road at Penn St ( ;D) would look really good. Actually, if they can win at least one this weekend, they would probably give themselves a boost. However, right now they are still in Pablo feeling the effects of their struggles against Iowa and, in particular, Wisconsin.

Ok, well you would know, p-dub. I'm sure the math is complicated, but ...
It just seems like having a better overall record, and being in 3rd place in the conference shouldn't make them so much lower than WI and MINN. The Strength of Schedule shows they didn't play weenie teams.
Will a win or a loss to PSU make them go up? Is that what I am reading , (R)uffda ?
I think Penn State will be spitting mad (Thanks Wisconsin!) and we have never won at State College. So, even though this year we have the team that can compete, away games in the Big Ten are not pretty for the visitors. Hopefully we don't try our all to beat PSU, and then have nothing left for OSU the next night. I wish the games were reversed. Or at neutral sites. ha!
