Right now these two teams are playing at UCI's Crawford court.
UCI, the hottest team in the Big West conference and CSUN is on another winning streak - a mini winning streak of two matches after defeating Pacific and Fresno St on their home court.
I expected UCI to be neck and neck with CSUN in terms of wins and losses since both teams are similiar in the makeup of the team(mostly have freshmen/sophomores) , but I didn't expect UCI to be having a losing season(not being harsh - just look at their record) whereas I did expect CSUN to be winning more matches than last year(yeah!!!).
Anyway I hope CSUN is playing well right now and not thinking too much that UCI upset two teams in five games last week where they were not favored at all to win. To defeat USCB and Cal Poly on the road is quite impressive. It was the hot topic of conversation last week among the parents and coaches at the CSUN matches.
If CSUN is gonna keep up their winnng ways tonight against a fired-up UCI team they better serve and block well...if they do well in those two areas all night then they have a good chance of beating UCI.
Go Matadors!
