This year? They haven't even had tryouts this year.
Is she even playing with SPVB this year?

Nucci (Lucci), Glab, Murphy... they're all gunning for a setting spot on that top SPRI team this year (though, if they don't run a 6-2, I'm sure Murph will be hitting RS). Can't remember who else set for those 16-Elite girls last year... but I'm sure she's in the picture as well.

just my OPINION(S)... Klineman - i'm so sick of all this 'hype', sign already! fans aren't the only one waiting to see what happens, some other girls' scholarships (and dreams) are up in the air too 'ya know... Faucette - fun to watch and has one of those personalities that you either love or love to hate. used to have the superstar/headcase thing goin' on but i think those days are long gone. Garrett - she's a goooooood one, i'd love to see mick let her play all the way around but it probably wont happen. boo! Wilson - i could've sworn that she was going to Florida at one point? who cares, this girl could be scary in a few years. All of the top girls are committed already. Klineman is the last one, so there really aren't any other 2007 girls waiting on Klineman's decision because the other schools who don't sign her will be done with their recruiting. So that part of the argument just falls flat.

2008 Tarah Murrey plays for Golden Bear club
And Cal is getting Carly Lloyd as setter next fall and she is definitely top drawer.

JTawa seems to think that Kelly Murphy is generally considered the top recruit for 2008.

Yep. Although she's been a backup at SPVB. Susan Lucci. (OK. It's Steph Nucci.) I just watched her team win the Arizona State Championship. Why does she go to Illinois to play club? Coaching, parents divorced? Just curious. I think she's does this the past 2-3 years.

I forget the story except I think she still has family in Illinois and she goes back for SPVB. And the odd thing is that she goes back even though she's a backup. She must _really_ like it back in Illinois in the winter time.
And then she's headed off to UCLA to backup Nellie again.
Good for her, I say.

Okay, over the past 2 months, it's been nonstop Klineman stuff. Which, I'm all for because at least Hawaii's in the running and from watching them the past 12 yrs, I don't think Hawaii was ever in the running for the #1 recruit in the nation. Willoughby was the closest. Who is the other top recruits and where are they going. I know Volleyball Mag use to do a rating of the top 50 and probably someone posted it already, but I don't hear much of #'s 2-10. Who are they? Might I remind you of the academically challenged Saleaumua... ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png) You mean the one who's on schedule to be the first college graduate from her family; unlike her auntie who played for Hawaii?

NOPE. did you ever think that maybe girls who are already on rosters might be able to get more schollie money or even SOME schollie money (if they dont get any right now) if Klineman doesn't pick their school?
