How cool would it be to have a NLI preview show this next week!! The Klineman conspiracy would be just one of several great features and stories. I live in Texas and they do similar shows weekly for football!! People seem to love the drama of recruiting- look at the NFL and NBA draft. Watch out CSTV- this could be big! Has anyone ever talked about this on a thread? Is it feasible?

I think so too. They could show club footage of them playing, and talk to their high school and club coaches on their abilities. Then they can do features on some kids that feature off the court things. I think it would be great tv for young girls just starting to play.

Speaking of, Gators signed 3
GAINESVILLE, Fla.
The seventh-ranked University of Florida volleyball team signed Lauren Bledsoe (Long Beach, Calif./Mira Costa HS), Kristy Jaeckel (Littleton, Colo./Heritage HS) and Callie Rivers (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park HS) to national letters of intent as announced on Wednesday by Gator head coach Mary Wise.
Bledsoe and Rivers will begin competing for the Gators in the 2007 season, while Jaeckel will don the Gator jersey beginning with the 2008 campaign. Each of the three athletes is ranked among the top 50 players in the nation in their class.
"This class is huge in talent," Florida coach Mary Wise said. "All three bring size, athleticism, skills and a winning background. Each of them plays on high school and club teams that compete and win at the highest level. We predict they will make a huge impact on our program for years."
Bledsoe, a 6-2 middle blocker/opposite hitter, was ranked as the No. 26 player in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com. She plays for the Mira Costa High School – the No. 1 ranked team in the nation that received a bye in the opening round of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Playoffs and will begin play on Thursday. Bledsoe has helped guide Mira Costa to a perfect 30-0 record in 2006 with her squad attempting to win its third consecutive California state title (2005 Division II, 2004 Division I). Earlier in the season, the team captured highly prestigious tournament titles in Chicago, Las Vegas and Santa Barbara with some considering the squad to be among the best in high school volleyball history. Bledsoe played for the highly regarded TCA Volleyball club team that captured the 2006 USA Junior Olympics national title with Bledsoe being named to the All-Tournament team. Bledsoe also has USA Volleyball experience having participated with the 2005 USA Youth National A2 Team.
Rivers, the daughter of Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers, was rated as the No. 13 player in the country by PrepVolleyball.com. A 6-1 outside hitter, Rivers will be looking to lead Winter Park (30-1) to its third straight Florida Class 6A state title on Wednesday evening as Winter Park is playing in the state semifinals against Spanish River at 8 p.m. in Lakeland. A 2004 and 2005 PrepVolleyball.com All-American, Rivers was a first-team Florida Sports Writers Association Class 6A selection in both 2004 and 2005 and was the runner-up for the Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Volleyball last year. She earned Mizuno/Volleyball Magazine second-team All-America honors in 2005 and was a finalist for the PrepVolleyball.com National Junior Player of the Year last season. In 2005, Rivers led her team with 334 kills, while adding 107 digs, 77 aces and 51 blocks en route to being named the Orlando Sentinel All-Central Florida Player of the Year for the second-straight season. Rivers has also participated in the USA Volleyball program having been a member of the 2006 USA Volleyball Junior National A2 Team.
Jaeckel, a 2007 high school graduate who has chosen to postpone her inaugural season at Florida until 2008, was ranked as one of the top 50 recruits in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com. Her Heritage High School team (22-3) will begin play in the Colorado Class 5A state tournament on Saturday after going undefeated in the Continental Conference (12-0). Jaeckel, who hails from the same club team (Front Range Juniors) that produced current Gator Kari Klinkenborg and former Gators Jane Collymore and Rachel Engel, is a 6-2 outside hitter who helped lead Front Range to a fifth-place finish at the 2006 USA Junior Olympics and a final national ranking of eighth. She helped lead Front Range to the Junior Olympics national title in the 16 age group in 2005.

Jim Miret(Front Range head coach) and Mary are friends. Other than that, not really much of a connection. It's just one of the best club programs that produces many great players.
