Nov. 6, 2006 WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - For the third time this season, UCLA senior middle blocker Nana Meriwether has been selected as the Pac-10 Player of the Week. With two matches with an attack percentage over .500, Meriwether now has 12 such matches this season. These were her first two matches over .500 for attack percentage since hitting .519 vs. Washington State on Sept. 29. Meriwether's 25.5 points against Arizona State on Friday night was a new season high and just 1.5 points shy of her career-high total. UCLA returns to action for a critical pair of road matches this weekend, at No. 12 Cal on Friday and at NO. 2 Stanford on Saturday. Friday's match at Cal will be televised tape-delayed by FOX Sports Net, while Saturday's contest at Stanford will air tape-delayed on CSTV.

Good for her. She's a lock for 1st team AA, huh? Meanwhile, UCLA's uniforms are hideous.

Well, the uniforms are most def UCLA. I am extremely excited about the Bruin record this year. It's been years since UCLA has been considered a contender for the Nat'l Champs. Even with Nana I think they are a little ways before they win. The PAC is full this year and even USC may have a small chance. If Penn St, Stanford, Nebraska, and the other teams in the TOP 25 are all collectively lost in a black hole then USC might win. Taylor is not good. And Asia Coksore is horrible.

I really hate Wisconsin's uniforms. They are so baggy and ugly.
