So, this may cause some controversy, but who else in here feels there are players that get way too much pub?
My first choice has to be Asia Coksore (Kaczor) of USC! What the hell kind of approach is that? I know she's 6'4", but what a total waste of space. She needs to be trained better then that. You should really try and work a little harder on that one Mick!

She may not have the jump approach that you would prefer but guess what? She puts the balls down for kills. Clever players don't need to jump very high to get around and over the blocks!

Who cares about jumping ability? I mean that she gets too much pub and she is not that great of a player. There was a ton of players prior to Coksore that were way better, but did not receive the same pub. Just my opinion and not meant to ruffle any feathers. SC has Copenhagen and that's all they should really brag about. SC's new playing facility can play better ball then Coksore!

I find your repeated use of "Coksore" as her last name to be in extremely poor taste.

The second player I must mention is Sarah Pavan! Ugh! I don't get it. She played for her country's national team and then to Nebraska and she still struggles. And most of the time she looks like she is bothered by being on the court. The only time you see any emotion from her is when she blocks. Which is not that often.

That is a phonetic spelling because I don't know how to use her surname correctly. Please let me know the proper way to use it sine you are the posting police.

She is the undisputed go-to hitter, and when the others couldn't put the balls down, Carico will set the balls to Kaczor from all points of the court. Copenhagen is still an inconsistent OH, as she still struggles with errors. Bear in mind that Copenhagen is not a natural OH. She played MB for her high school and club (except as OH for the last club season). During her freshman year at USC, she played the Opp position and the injury to Gysin and Florian's transfering out forced Copenhagen to play OH for her sophomore year.

There is nothing - in general - wrong with nicknames and satire, but I don't need to tell anyone that calling a young lady "coksore" is just ridiculous.

Who cares about jumping ability? In your first post, you stated: "My first choice has to be Asia Coksore (Kaczor) of USC! What the hell kind of approach is that? I know she's 6'4", but what a total waste of space. She needs to be trained better then that. You should really try and work a little harder on that one Mick!" Are you having amnesia? I hope you are not having the onset of the memory disorder problem.

You all got me. My disorder is going to be a problem isn't it. I can't help my specific disorder, but it has a lot to do with bad volleyball playing!

But honestly I feel that Diane is a much better player. She should be leading the team as much as Carico sets her. But even with her international experience she is not that great. The last great international player (next to bibi) was the middle Yasmina Morinkovic (i know i didn't spell that correctly) I apologize to all the volleyball aficionado's out there. I was simply having fun with such a horrible last name. Can you imagine what all the fans in the PAC yell at her? Who cares about jumping ability? I mean that she gets too much pub and she is not that great of a player. There was a ton of players prior to Coksore that were way better, but did not receive the same pub. The last great international player (next to bibi) I agree with you about Candelas. She can hit from all over the court, and for a MB, she adjusted her hitting swings from the outsides very well. She is the most versatile USC player.

Thank you soo much for starting this thread...
Alix Klineman
I for one am so sick of the drama. The kid must have an ego the size of Mt. Rushmore...good luck to the program that gets a great player with a great big ego.......
