Ashley Engle for TEXAS had 13K (tied for match high), hit .310, and 5 aces in a 3 game sweep of Texas A&M. Then, in a 3-1 victory over Mizzou, she had a match high 24 kills (only 3 errors), hit .447 and led team with 19 digs.
Ashley Nu'u of Colorado had 45 assts in sweep of Kansas on the road and 62 assts in 5 game win over Nebraska. Both match highs.
Who else is in the running? Stalls? (career night in loss to CU) Pavan? (season high in kills against ISU)

I guarantee you it will be someone from Colorado.

I guarantee you it will be someone from Colorado. Then Ashley Nu'u will be the POW. Even though Amber Sutherland had a match high 18 kills, it is negated by her .074 hitting%.

Even if Ashley Engle has great numbers, a player for a team that pulls a big upset always has the best shot.

OverAndUnder is right. Engle deserves it with some very good stats but probably will go to Colorado setter. None of the CU hitters had good enough numbers to surpas Engle.
