So last Friday night Cal and UCLA were officially credited with a total of 153 digs in four games. I pledged a quarter per dig to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which puts me on the hook for $38.25. I'm more than happy to make good on the pledge (if someone would just contact me), although I got tired of wearing that pink ribbon. Pink isn't particularly flattering on me.

Pink isn't particularly flattering on me. Crimson and Gold would.

I pledged $0.00 per dig. Those with calculators, what's my damage?

I pledged $0.00 per dig. Those with calculators, what's my damage? I think something overflowed. It says you owe $8.5 trillion. We thanks you for clearing up that national debt issue though.

I just got a visual of a jerk football coach type coaching on the sidelines during this event. A player misses an easy dig and then rotates out. Coach: "You are pathetic. My grandma could have dug that, and she has been dead for ten years. Do you hate breast cancer patients? Just think how much money they lost because of you. Get out of my sight!"
Seriously, though, it sounds like a good idea to me, and I hope that more schools do it.
