This game is at 23 - 23.
Hawaii has 10-team blocks.

I'm not sure if Caroline travelled or not?
Its 24-23 Hawaii lead (Mason)
Now an ace makes it 25-23.

if Hawaii were at NMSU they would have lost in 3 already. I dunno. I think that Hawaii is a very "emotional" team. Meaning that they are NOT inspired to be playing today. Not sure of all the reasons, but I think that if the Nebraska loss to Colorado showed us anything, is that an uninspired team (Hawaii/Nebraska) is more dangerous than a good one (BSU/Colorado). very true. Idahoboy, do you ever wonder that maybe Dave should be replaced? I mean it seems like its the same old stuff. Why cant he change things up, like running a quick offense like the GTech team had a few years ago. Just something different. I think its just boring. Just set high to the left side. We dont run combinations. I mean i know our passing has struggled, but even with good passes its mostly outside.

Tammietti is a difference from when BSU played at Hawaii. She just made a kill and one more by Flunder knotts it up at 25-25 .

Ever try to run a fast offense with unreliable passing? That is a recipe for disaster.

I know a lot of the team and I think that the "complacency" is just a "chemistry" thing for the Hawaii team. Team chemistry changes every year and one player can be all that it takes to make a big difference. Regarding running a quicker offense this year. Not gonna happen with the inconsistencies at passing. Its a shame becaue Kanoe can set anything, but hey, what can ya do? Hawaii 27 BSU 28 Hawaii TO

True. Shoji's style is high percentage, low error volleyball. While I agree with you that a quicker more intricate offense is more fun for the average fan, it is not necessarily high percentage volleyball. Besides, Dave's got one hell of a resume to back up his style.

Besides, Dave's got one hell of a resume to back up his style. Its not just for the audience sake. Its fine when we had Kahumoku/Willoughby who can slam it for a kill with 2 big blockers waiting. Hawaii no longer has that luxury and that high outside offense aint gonna cut it with no goto for sure kill player.
