From Prep Volleyball...
What an amazing get for the Bearcats!
Brandl is a 6-2 tower of terror at the net for Lakeville North HS and M1 VBC, a 2008 top recruit who should be an absolute force at Cincinnati.

Man, you scared me.
Congrats to Kelsey and the Bearcats. She should be a solid middle for ya.

Interesting. I guess MN really wasn't recruiting her all that hard. She sure has gotten a lot of press and exposure -- especially this summer on the youth national team. Seems like MN's recruiting is getting to a point where they can be much more selective. But we have to be recruiting a middle for '08, don't you think? Jones will be gone, Schmidt will be a senior and Gibb a soph. What other top middles are out there for '08?

6'2"? She looked taller than that this summer. This is a very nice pickup for Cincinnati. If Cincy also lands hometown girls Rachael Adams, they are gonna have one heck of a middle lineup for years to come.

Adams will go to USC/Florida/Illinois (dad played hoops there)/Penn State according to sources close to the situation.

Heard from someone close to Brandl's HS team that she is closer to 6'4" but they listed her at 6'2" so they wouldn't scare away teams from playing in invitational tournaments.
