UCI needs to win one more match than Stanford in the remaining 2 that they both have left. If Stanford wins both they are in, if UCI loses both Stanford is in, if Stanford loses one then UCI needs to win both to get in, if Stanford loses both then UCI just needs one win to get in.

If Irvine loses both games against UCSB and CSUN, and Stanford loses both games to Pacific this week, there will be a 3-way tie for the final MPSF playoff spot between UCI, Stanford, and Pacific, all at 6-16.
At that point it comes down to game scores between the 3 teams: Stanford beat Irvine 3-2, 3-1. Irvine beat Pacific 3-1, 3-1. If Pacific beats Stanford either 3-0, 3-0, or 3-0, 3-1, they will win the tie-breaker and earn the final MPSF playoff berth.......
