Who would have seen that one coming last year? I know the Wildcats lost a lot of talent, but ASU looked bad and their coach clueless in this matchup last season. Lamb and Dosty give the Wildcats hope for the future, but they will have to get much, much better in getting them the ball where they can actually do something with it.

I believe on another thread someone called Nwestern the biggest dissapointment, should UA be mentioned as well?

Is Arizona State in the Tournament? 15-14 and 7-11 in the Pac-10. Tough call.

With the #38 RKPI, there's a good case to be made that they belong in the postseason. Just to pick schools that are close in RKPI, Is Iowa State going to be there? Northwestern? Michigan State?
Their fate is in the hands of the committee now.

I have to say, UA played horrible last night. I usually support my wildcats, but last night was not good. ASU was ok, but UA was so bad. What the heck happened to them. And is seems as though Rubio gave up a while ago. he's usually so energetic and last night he did not coach.
If ASU makes it into the tournament, good luck! Brad Sandon only took 4 years to make it to the tournament. That's not anything to be proud of of, but way to save your job!

At first the complaints were he'd never get them to the Dance. Now that he just might do that, it's still not good enough? I'd imagine it's not all that easy to get the required wins against Stanford, UCLA, USC, Washington, and now Cal. At least they are beating the teams that they CAN beat. Best of luck to ASU ...

Taking four year to make it into the tournament is not bad when you are playing in the Pac-10. Give this team a break. There has been much controversy surrounding the coach, but don't take it out on the players. They have put up with a lot and deserve to be there.

Yeah, good job asu. i hope you do make it into the tournament. 4 years is a long time for a coach to make it, but he did make it. And i think when he came, he had all returning players that weren't his and didn't like to play for him. within that following 3 years, he recruited players he wanted and trained them into how he wanted them to play. well, now that those girls are older and have more experience, they should be better. and i'm sure they will be a lot better next year.
But my advice to that ASU team, they need to speak a little better about their head coach. Tara Mueller didn't go to ASU because how badly the players talked about their coach. that would of been a great get. You can do any better then 7th place in conference if his own team talks bad about him.
