Penn State defeats Princeton 30-20, 30-22, 30-25
Keith Kowal nine kills on 11 errorless swings in two games. Nate Meerstein has five kills on six errorless swings in the first two games. Alex Gutor has match-high 11 kills as Penn State hits .447.
Princeton led by Jack Pichard and Ryn Burns, who each have nine kills in the match. Tigers hit .247.
PSU holds 11-3 team block advantage.
Penn State will be the top seed in the EIVA Tournament and play either Sacred Heart or Roger Williams in the first round (Sacred Heart if it defeats Vassar next week, otherwise Roger Williams).

yay...got to go to this game...it was nice to see a volleyball game after spending numerous weekends busy..congrats to penn state!

hahaha, I'm just thinking that I can't see Princeton not being sucessful in something. I would think that either they start putting together a stronger team or they drop the program. Just a thought. However, I'm naive...so who knows )

Well since Princeton is Ivy league they cannot give out scholarships so that doesnt help their program and since it is so hard to get into, the kids on the team all have to be practically geniouses. I doubt they would ever drop the program though because they don't really put any money into to it to begin with so I'm sure it does not really cost them too much.

They did to the FF back in 98? They might be bad now, but there are plenty of teams who haven't been.
