Hey Gorf, some incredible coin-flipping, what?

I merged homerism with the coin flipping.

I merged homerism with the coin flipping. Pretty amazing that even one Pac 10 school even got through the second round. Clearly wasn't a two-headed coin; at best it must have been two-tailed.

That may have been the result of homerism. USC makes it to the regional semis though. I can't help it that Santa Clara is getting their groove back a bit from last year's tournament run.

Whatever you say, champ. good that you are able to reconcile their groove with being swept at home on Seniors Whatever at their most recent match. But they regard Maples as their home away from home (coach can't cuss at them thaaaaat long), so who knows?

Indeed, who knows. It's too bad all of the matches in the tournament can't be televised or webcast. FWIW: I did cheer for Stanford did cheer for Stanford in 2001. I was a Robyn Lewis fan and Logan Tom impressed the heck out of me at the Final Four with her defense and hitter coverage. They just need a bit longer break from winning championships IMO.

Only a double negative yields a positive Stanford lost in the second round last year; so at least you gotta root for them to get to the Final Four. After that, the Cardinal are solely on their own. BTW, I could still swear I met you in the elevator at the Minn/Wash hotel in Long Beach in 2004. Or was that Ruffda? My rooms were right across from Washs, closest to Cristal M's. Great motivational posters on her door, but they could not heal her physically. Regardless of who wins, I just hope all play their best matches and emerge healthy.

It may have been (R)uffda! you met. Which would be my guess based on the IM you sent me last week regarding name confusion. I was in the same hotel and talked to some of their fans and players briefly the morning of the national semifinals, however, the VT'ers I met were VBCOACH and some of the Husker fans.
