I still think Hawaii got screwed this year due to the quality of teams in their bracked(subregional), but i'd probably take this one more than that of a suprised trip to Austin. .

On another note, I like Hawaii's chances over SC if they make it back to islands...
Glad to see Hawaii only facing either LBSU/Pepp. and not both.
The Beach will be beatable, but at the same time challenging.
Same with Peppy. But beating a team three times in a season(besides the WAC) is hard to do.

I think they'll have to bring their "A" game to Long Beach. Based on their performance in the WAC Tournament, I think they'll be OK, especially if they keep blocking they way they have been.

Would you rather have Nebraska, Penn State, or Stanford there?

How about an option for "Hawaii didn't get screwed" leaving out the "easy road ahead" part?

Hawai'i got what should be expected for a team which didn't do the work necessary to be seeded higher than 12. Any preferential treatment should only accrue to the #1/#2 in each region (i.e. the top 8 seeds). Everyone else should expect a dogfight. If you think you're good enough to reach the Final Four, you have two weeks to prove it.

Well we need to worry about Oregon first.

Well we need to worry about Oregon first. Good obs......not sure how Oregon is playing right now but earlier in the season they were a very formidable team.....If Hawaii overlooks anyone this weekend they will be unhappy observers at their own regional!

I think Hawaii got some treatment this year actually. Rather have UCLA and USC in the bracket than the likes of Stanford and Washington. We actually caught a break! WOOHOO! I really like the Wahine's chances this year than years past.

Yeah, leave "the easy road ahead" part out. They already have Oregon 1st, assuming a win, they would have LBSU, USC, UCLA, Nebraska in a row.
