Bryn Kehoe, a junior setter from Stanford University, has been named Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week. She earned the honor for her strong performance in a pair of sweeps over two tough Pac-10 opponents last weekend, which gave the Cardinal the conference title. In Stanford's first match on Friday night, Kehoe had 38 assists, four kills, 12 digs, one solo block and a season high eight total blocks in the Cardinal upset of then-ranked No. 2 Washington. She followed that up on Saturday night with a 40-assist performance in leading her teammates to a .338 hitting percentage in a win over Washington State. She also contributed three kills, 12 digs and one block assist in the win. For the week, Kehoe averaged 13 assists per game while leading Stanford to a .282 hitting percentage. She also averaged four digs and 1.5 blocks per game. Kehoe is the tenth Cardinal player to earn the Sports Imports/AVCA National Player of the Week honors, and the first since Kristin Richards in November 2005. Stanford is coached by John Dunning.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- STANFORD setter Bryn Kehoe has been named the Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Nov. 20-26, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Kehoe, a junior from North Bend, Ohio, led the Cardinal to back-to-back sweeps last weekend over No. 2 Washington and Washington State as Stanford claimed the 2006 Pac-10 title.
On Friday night, Kehoe collected 38 assists, four kills and a season-high eight blocks in Stanford's three-game upset over the Huskies. In the Cardinal's final regular season match against the Cougars, Kehoe tallied 40 assists, three kills and two aces to lead Stanford to an outright Conference championship. Kehoe was also second on the squad with 24 digs over the weekend.
For the weekend, Kehoe averaged 13.00 assists per game, 4.00 digs per game, and boasted a .545 hitting percentage.
This is the first weekly honor for Kehoe and Stanford's 58th Pac-10 Player of the Week all-time.
