I was reading that this year's NCAAs are introducing 5 new teams to the tournament? Who might they be? Ole Miss is one I believe. Are the others Oklahoma, Oregon, St Johns and Prairie View A & M?
Thanks

Thanks Oh, where is the love? I think the Sooners have been in the Elite 8... granted it was like 20 years ago... and most of you kids were, well, kids then.

Yes, the Sooners were very good under long-time coach Miles Pabst.

I believe Prairie View A&M is the team that lost to LBSU 15-0, 15-0, 15-0. Late 90's, I think.

I believe Prairie View A&M is the team that lost to LBSU 15-0, 15-0, 15-0. Late 90's, I think. Prairie View was the team from the SWAC after Southern University faced Long Beach in 1998. Prairie View faced a Bown lead Hawaii team in 1999. Praire View scored the first 3 points of the match before Hawaii went on to score the next 39 points. After that, Shoji let his DS's hit from the front row which gave Prairie View 3 more points in the third game.

Free trip to the islands, free room at The Outrigger, free meals, easy match. Why the heck did I retire? Oh yeah-it was those other 300 matches that weren't so "easy", the upchucking in the bathroom from nervous stomach, "Your plane is delayed", hearing my partner tell for the 4th time about "the big match he reffed in '93", too many Brian Gimmalero's and not enough Elaine Michaelis', etc. Ok, now I remember.
