The 16-hosts are above, in order of the seeded teams hosted at that site.
Who will have the most attending?
I'd like to see comments on why such-n-such place is a low-attendance site, etc, as well, if you know.
I think that Nebraska will win, with 2-sell outs (9000+) Wisconsin, Florida, Long Beach State might be in the mix. Texas has potential to... but seriously, noone else even has the facilities to challenge.
Hawaii would have won hands down had they hosted.

It's gotta be Albany, right? I mean, they'll essentially have two "home" crowds, a third team is fairly close, and the fourth team is known to have a fan following.
How could they possibly not have the biggest crowd?

I don't think anyone else will come close to Nebraska. The Huskers will pack the place to the rafters, both nights, that's a given.
Speaking of Albany, the sooner these types of teams fail to make the tourney, the better the tourney will be. It is aboslutely ridiculous that a team like Albany is allowed to host, I don't care how much the NCAA tries to spin the regionalization ploy... that is just complete and utter BS!

There have to be automatic bids for every conference so those teams have something to play for. Of course, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be sent on the road to Nebraska or somewhere if their ratings aren't high. That is how it works in baskeball, for instance. The hosting is a joke, unless Albany were undefeated or something.
I am hoping that Wisconsin will be able to have the highest mark this weekend. Nebraska is limited by facility size, so I hope the Badgers will do better. The other teams could also bring some people because they are relatively close and can just drive to Madison and be guaranteed the ability to walk up and buy a ticket, unlike at Nebraska. It doesn't look like it will be snowing like during the second round match versus Cal last year, so that should help.

Approx. 60,000 Nebraskans bought tickets to the Big 12 Football championships in Kansas City on Sat. So, tickets may not be that hard to get on Sat. IF the Huskers get by American university.

I don't think Florida's attendance will be that high this week. First match is Thursday, which being a week night will automatically depress the attendance. 2nd match, if they get there, is Friday, but it's the night before the SEC Football Championship in Atlanta, and a lot of people will have left town by then. I say if they get 2,000 for either match, it'll be considered good.

Tickets might be easier to pick up out front than most of the season when buyers out numbered sellers most matches by a bunch. However, officially, it is a sellout for both nights - I'm not sure any were ever available to the non-season ticket holding general public, so the total will be around 8300 for the two nights.

I was able to snag two in section 3 on Sunday night after 5 pm. It was misleading that Nebraska sent out a press release that same evening stating that the games were sold out, when they were selling the tickets that were non-season tickets (bleachers behind the bench, and general admission) at that exact time on huskers.com The good thing is that the Big 12 championship game isn't until 7 pm, the second round game will be at 5. I agree with the 8300+ number.
