GREENSBORO, N.C. - Eighteen players from 10 of the 12 schools have been selected to the 2006 All-ACC Volleyball Teams, as voted on by the conference's 12 head coaches. Duke rolled in the postseason accolades, as the Blue Devils led all schools with four selections among the first and second teams and swept all three superlatives to become the first school to notch Player, Freshman and Coach of the Year honors.
Clemson and Virginia both received three picks on the All-Conference teams, while Georgia Tech notched a pair of nods. Boston College, Florida State, Maryland, Miami, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest rounded out the teams with one selection apiece.
The ACC All-Freshmen Team highlighted six of the league's top freshmen with players from Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Setter Ali Hausfeld garnered ACC Player of the Year honors, becoming the first Blue Devil since 1994 to receive the league's top individual award. The junior from Springboro, Ohio, was recognized as ACC Player of the Week a league-high three times this season, including the final honor of the season on November 27. She led the league and her team in assists this year with 13.17 per game, which also ranks among the top 25 in the nation. Hausfeld has totaled 4,346 assists in 328 games during her career at Duke, and stands at fourth on the ACC all-time career assists list with 13.25 per game.
The first Duke player to take the top rookie award since 1996, Rachael Moss was tabbed the league's Freshman of the Year. Moss is the fourth Blue Devil to receive this award since its inception in 1992.

Nagel led the Blue Devils to a 21-1 record in league action this season, capturing the regular season title and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
