Found this article about the Missouri team which is coming to Stanford and will play Santa Clara. www.themaneater.com/article.php?id=25540I think the Ailes of Missouri is the same Ailes that they say is coming to Stanford next year. Anyway, it is interesting that she thinks Stanford is "neutral territory" she probably doesn't realize their campus is 30 minutes away. It sounds like Santa Clara may get a run for their money and Stanford versus Santa Clara in the winners bracket is not a lock.

The Ailes of Missouri is the big sister of the Stanford recruit.

Sorry, not exactly related to the topic, however: Is Joanna Evans the heir apparent to Bryn Kehoe? She looks like one tiny girl. Never seen her set, though. Just wondering.

Even this year, I think Maples will be uncomfortably close to a neutral court for a Stanford-SCU sub-regional final. For the SCU-Mizzou match, Maples will be Leavey Center North... few Stanford fans will even be present, let alone root for the Tigers.

Missour and Santa Clara played back in early September in Austin. The same tourney in which Penn St. beat Texas in five.
Santa Clara over Missouri 34-30,30-18,30-20, 30-24

Right now, Evans is the heir to Kehoe. She was the back-up setter for the JNT last season, behind Holloway from Nebraska. '07 recruit Cassidy Lichtman can also run the offense. She was behind Evans for the JNT last year too, with another young lady. BUt I hear they are recruiting Kelly Murhpy out of SPVB. She is a 6'2 lefty that is a dangerous hitter/setter. By the way, Evans is 5'10 or 5'11. Not small in height, just build. She gives it all, when on the court.
