Who do you think should be the MPSF POY and the FOY or in that case the overall POY and the FOY?

Am I wrong or does it seem like there really isn't a dominate player out there right now for POY?
And I have no idea about FOY/Newcomer of the Year!

In reviewing the stats, talking to fans, coaches, etc., at least in MPSF, there are at least three kids that should be considered re FOY. Dan Rhodes, Jake Wiens and Steve Klosterman. Would also think about John Parfitt and Brian Beckwith. I would agree there is no one player that is an automatic for this recognition.

what about james grunst? he's 9th in the country in hitting percentage, leads the miva in hitting percentage as well as having over 250 kills, and is 18th in the country in blocks. Not bad for any player regardless of year.

I think Grunst is a shoein for MIVA FOY! Not sure how he compares to the other freshmen mentioned but I'm sure he'll be considered.

Beckwith is a great freshman with a lot of potential, but I don't know if he has played enough games to be considered for the award. I like socalbud's picks on Dan Rhodes, Jake Wiens and Steve Klosterman.
POY will likely go to Moreno of BYU. I would suspect him as the front runner. The BYU win streak as well as being number one for most of the second half of the year will really help.

Moreno has probably impressed me the most out of all the players in the mpsf this year. he provides a lot of leadership, and with BYU being number one for a number of weeks that cetainly helps his chances.

I gotta go with Moreno as well for POY.
I'm still undecided on FOY, I'm waiting for the new stats to come out today.
