Reading the wide ranging disgruntlement regarding the televised proceedings and its announcers......I thought the coverage by the board was exceptional regarding the two semi-finals....are you available to post on the final match? This list came from those who posted on the Semi-Final matches.

Sorry about not listing so many of you.......the more that post.......the better......for us who have to follow the finals via the board. Gametracker would be great....but almost every match this season that I used it ...it either froze up or would go off-line. The commentary I read here is dead-on and the way you break down the action is better than anything the so-called pros calling the action on television can do. Regards, bigfan

What's the question? I stopped doing that when my mom told me about going blind.

This is a poll. You didn't ask a legitimate question.

This is what I like for VolleyTalk announcers:
Play-by-play: Peeps should post scores, kills, digs, errors, time-outs, and any other pertinent info in as few posts as possible. I would say something like ONE post for every 5-6 pts. NOT one post per point! Grandpa Gorf does this well.
Color commentary: Some analysis would be nice. One paragraph (approx. 4-5 sentences) worth. Trends and patterns they notice. Also, frequent mentions of accumulated stats.
Second color commentator: Humorous quips. Court jester. Inane observations of the match. Off-topic subject matter springing from the match itself.

Well, someone voted for me. I certainly didn't vote for myself. No one can FORCE me to be an announcer!!

I am Tivo'ing the game, so I can fast forward through the commercials. Especially that half hour of basketball and football coverage like last night.
Someone needs to invent something like Tivo that starts recording when the game is really on, and doesn't end until the game finishes.

I will not be available for pbp. Sadly, I will be doing behind the scenes work for BASTA! so that others may enjoy the most anticipated match of the year. In exchange for my self-sacrifice I ask for nothing, except all your money and clothing should we ever meet in a dark alley.*
*NOTE: please out of courtesy to me, be sure to wear expensive clothing whenever you enter dark alleys. thanks, in my Vans

Thanks to all of you who wore the fancy clothing as requested. I hope you made it out of Omaha without freezing to death due to your unexpected nakedness. Rest assured that your clothes are in a far better wardrobe now.

A couple VT'ers voted for me twice, which is weird because I thought this thread was asking who will volunteer to do the online play-by-play and color commentary. I certainly did not volunteer.
