Does anybody know how to contact ESPN to complain about the continuous use of end-zone shots for live coverage? From what the commentators are saying, the Nebraska-Stanford match is great. I just wish that I could see more of it.
(I know, the coaches use end zone cameras for their scouting videos. So do NFL coaches. How many NFL plays do you see broadcast live from the end zone instead of the line of scrimmage?)

And there's far fewer field goal attempts than non field goal plays.
I have the feeling HDTV will render the endzone angle for live action obsolete. You'll have so much wasted screen estate with that aspect ratio.

Ok- When the vball team attempts a field goal, I won't complain about the angle.

Seriously- Does anybody know how to contact ESPN? I've tried searching the web for a way to email them, and no luck. I'll even settle for a snailmail address.

Please don't complain. Then they'll think they are televising it correctly. The ENTIRE match should be the endline angle.

I like the end view, especially after you get yourself calibrated. I think the problem is that ESPN doesn't show it enough.

I like the end zone view, but you need to get more elevation

That's true. About the elevation.
They need to mix it up, but the endline should be the standard. Just like in tennis. You miss too much with the side angle.

you get no depth on the far side, and the director had the uncanny ability to know the most inopprtune times to use endzone cam.

You get used to the depth perception. You'll never get used to not seeing 2/5 of the court with the side view. Or you will and not realize what you're missing.

How's about using a SkyCam for replays in Sacramento? They already use it for some NBA games, and I'm pretty sure it's doable in Arco Arena.
