The Governor named this week Nebraska Volleyball Week, and coach Cook was declared Governor for the day. Which means he may hunt a few volleytalkers down, and than claim diplomatic immunity. Not entitled to claim diplomatic immunity unless Nebraska is a foreign country, or part thereof, and I ain't going there with a ten foot pole.

Publius, of course he can't claim diplomatic immunity, it's a joke. Also, upon being named Governor, he thanked Stanford and John Dunning for making it possible. (another joke) Pavan refused to shake the Governors hand, Cook called a timeout in the first minute of the ceremony, and worst of all they got to host the ceremony at home.

Geez, now you tell me, Keystone. If only you had used a smily, I wouldn't have been so confused. Which Governor did the POY refuse to shake hands with and did that have anything to do with Cook calling a time-out? Oh, nevermind, it's probably covered in the link you provided. I'll get back to you if I am still confused.

I will try harder to simplify for you Stanford grads, I know the challenges you face given your lowly universities academic tradition.

Is it just me or does everyone else notice how all Jackie Gleason KeystoneKid has become since the Nebraska victory?

I will try harder to simplify for you Stanford grads, I know the challenges you face given your lowly universities academic tradition. Thanks, Keystone, it is nice of you to extend that courtesy. Reminds me of my youth, growing up in Iowa, where everyone was so friendly. Why in California, we don't even know half our neighbors!

Well Palo Alto's neighbor is East Palo Alto, count yourself lucky you don't know your neighbor.

Claiming it just doesn't necessarily entitle him to the rights of such immunity. Claiming it could also get him a big smack on the wrist or a date with Jewel whichever would cause him the most angst.

We now have an IKEA in East Palo Alto! It's the place to be seen... That's the East Palo Alto with the fancy security and heavy police presence. They also have the new Four Seasons Hotel. You need to be right next to 101 for any real sense of safety outside your car. Step a little bit aways from that into the real East Palo Alto, and you might as well be in the Bayview (San Francisco), East Oakland, or downtown Richmond. It still has a gang, drug dealing, and prostitution problem.
