Just wondering what the Husker faithful and other volleyball experts think will happen at Nebraska after Pavan moves on. Larson will be a senior, Cooper and Holloway will be juniors, and the 07 class (middle blocker Brooke Delano (Bellevue, Neb./Bellevue West), right side hitter Lindsey Licht (Aurora, Colo./Grandview) and outside hitters Tara Mueller (Scottsdale, Ariz./Desert Mountain) and Danielle Minch (Sterling, Colo./Sterling)will be sophomores . Also, Cook has commitments from two 5"11 outside hitters in 08 (Haverly and James). I don't see any Pavans or Larsons on this list, but what do "those in the know" really think. Licht has the possibility. Good ball striker, can block better than Pavan already. Minch is like a Houghtelling, and Cook thought she was more athletic than Houghtelling. But its hard to say when they haven't taken swings here yet.

Has anyone actually seen Licht play? Some Nebraska club coaches told me she has a lot of work to do to be ready to play at the level the Huskers are at. Being there at semester will help her for sure.

Whenever I see any title that begins with the word "Life", I think only of "Life of Brian", the Monty Python movie.
Thanks, in advance.

"it's only a scratch" MCLaughlin after FF debacle. This was "Holy Grail," not "Life of Brian".

I think that the industrial advancements of the automobile were facilitated by the nation's Pavan of roads. Without all the Pavan, we'd be driving in mud

I am just guessing, but I think the NCAA will probably make Nebraska's road to the Final Four in 2008 a little easier than it probably should be. They will be good, but it probably will be a rebuilding year for them. I think they call that the Mary Wise bracket.

As a truly Fan in the State of Texas (of course is not UT, Tech, or A&M) both Cristina and Sarah will be greatly missed, but NU is NU they will not have a problem. So for you Sarah and Cristina "PIP" (Play In Peace) professionally somewhere.

Nebraska will get beat in a regional final in 08 after losing houghtelling, stalls, and pavan. not a bad season. The good thing is the volleyball fanatics in Omaha will show the ncaa they can still pack the house without the huskers.
