Why does everyone assume that every assistant coach has head coach aspirations or has what it takes to be a head coach?? The assistant Denise C at Stanford is a great example. Maybe Lee does, maybe he doesn't, I'm sure only he and his family really know the answer to that. I'm pretty sure that Lee does have aspirations to be a head coach eventually. He has been contacted before (and I believe he's interviewed a few times) for open head coaching positions. It wouldn't surprise me if he were offered before, although I don't know. The first head coaching position he interviewed for was Cal. That probably wasn't the right time, as he only had 1 year's experience as a college coach.
