Sounds about right to me. For Long Beach i ordered tickets months before, then by the week before they hadn't mailed the tickets to me and I had to get them at will call. Tickets were in a horrible spot, too, raising the spectre that good seats went to friends. But did not go through Ticketmaster for that. Think it's time to write my congressman, with a new sherriff in town. Might attack the Ticketmaster monopoly. I remember LB. I ordered about three months in advance through LBSU, and was sent the standard ticket package with venue and tourist information, about a month later. The tickets were specially printed for the event (with event logo grahics) in one sheet. For San Diego in 2001, I ordered through SDSU around Sept, and they sent me a couple of TicketMaster thermal tickets enclosed in a small envelope with a letter at the beginning of Dec. Both tickets were slightly scorched, although I'm not sure how.
