This is from the VB staff, given to the booster club board last night. Like all things, it's subject to change, but they sound pretty definite on everything. The Gophers' Spring Schedule for 2007... - Mar 31 -- Florida (at Williams Arena.. must end by 4PM)
- Apr 07 -- Iowa State (at Sports Pavilion)
- Apr 14 -- at Iowa State (may have a third team)
- Apr 21 -- Montana State (and maybe Wash State) (at Sports Pavilion

Can barely read yellow on white, but WSU isn't coming twice, are they?

Nao's e-mail said that Wash State was definitely coming on 31-Mar (along w/ Florida and ND). Hmmm... maybe that's Notre Dame instead of N Dakota. I hate abbrevs.
Her e-mail also said that Wash State was still a "maybe" for the fourth weekend, along w/ Montana State.

wonder what starting lineups will be for spring. maybe:
Roehrig, Jones, Hartman Vatterodt, Schmidt, Haggerty
Tan -- Libero for middles Fallon/Chin/Wilber for Roehrig Vatterodt plays all-the-way around
I guess this line-up stuff isn't so exciting for spring, since we don't have the frosh challenging for playing time.

Clarification on the Spring schedule:
March 31 hosting Florida, Washington State and Notre Dame
April 7 hosting Iowa State (and maybe one or two additional teams TBA)
April 14 at Iowa State along with Northern Iowa and Creighton
April 21 hosting Montana State and South Dakota State
(Also, two players will be at a CSTV-sponsored sand doubles tourney in San Diego… details to come. This may also be 4/21?)

Hmm... I wonder why Nao sent me the info she did, then.
It was (is) Notre Dame, of course... I see ND and think of the state, not the school.

(Also, two players will be at a CSTV-sponsored sand doubles tourney in San Diego… details to come. This may also be 4/21?) Best of luck to these two players -- I hope they win the tournament and come back to the U with a fat wad of cash. Yep, that would be cool.

Can undergrads play in that sand tourney? If it is the same as last year the winners would get a berth in an AVP event. Would the NCAA allow that?
