So has anyone who sent out the 2007 FF application to the Arco Arena address gotten any confirmation? I sent out my application days after the form was available for download, and my check still hasn't been cashed.

I hope there will be seats available at the door.

Sent mine out over a month ago, check still not cashed. Thinking of calling them to ask what's up, but doubt I will get any live person to talk to.

They don't know what court arrangement they will be using yet so can't assign seats so don't know for sure how much to charge.
The Husker fans already had all the tickets snapped up by this time last year.

I hope there will be seats available at the door. It would be better for volleyball if there wasn't any available at the door, but I'm confident that it will not be a sell out.

From website: www.sacsports.comSeat assignments are not determined at this time because of NCAA and ESPN2 regulations. However, ticket orders are processed and placed in the best available seating based on date received. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Sacramento Sports Commission Phone # 916-566 2400 Phone # for group ticket sales: 916/928-3650 This webpage has the link for credit card purchases and for downloading an application to send in the mail with your check. www.sacsports.com/2007%20Women%27s%20Volleyball.htmI got a personal non automated answer back from a person at this email in mid Dec. within 24 hours. I would just email them and tell them that you are confirming that they got your application and check. Tell them NOT cashing the check promptly not only messes up your check register for who knows how long, it makes you very uncertain that you have the proper priority you should have by sending in the application /money EARLY, let alone any peace of mind that they really have your application and money...... AND that your friends who have paid by credit card DO have their confirmation # and a date to prove their purchase and you would like one asap. It also wouldn't hurt to tell them specifically that their lack of handling these applications quickly with a receipt or at least a cancelled check.... is being discussed on line across the US, especially with the handling fees that were charged that seem excessive to start with. That the PR this issue is creating is totally negative, and you thought they would like to know that so they could remedy the situation, and you are looking forward to hearing back from them promptly. See if you can get them off the dime. sportsfan@sacsports.com ----------- btw/ot: as I don't see an 800 # , if you don't want to sit on HOLD when you call, wracking up charges, dial 10 10 297 first and then the 1 916 #..... I call all over 24/7 and pay about $1 for a half hour's talk even overseas a lot. Doesn't work from my cell, just my home phone. Charges come on your regular phone bill, extra page, no signup charges, no nothing, just next to free long distance calls.

No doubt there will be tickets at the door, and may even be as good as those I sent in for if the Long Beach experience repeats itself. Maybe Sac State and Univesity of Pacific will put on a run, even new Division 1 school Davis, then it would be crowded.

I am sure Stanford, Cal and Santa Clara are eyeing a run....
and it is a fine opportunity to go watch regardless.
Everyone could put the credit card link on the bottom of their vball emails in a P.S. for starters from now on.....especially for juniors....let's encourage them to go.

Just got a call from someone at the Arco Arena box office. Apparently they haven't assigned a "high priority" to processing the ticket applications. I guess they were waiting for a "critical mass" of applications to justify a larger amount of manpower to process a large group. I was informed that they won't even assign the seating until "mid 2007".
I originally paid for two tickets and the $5 handling charge. They also told me I was short $3.50 for some assorted fee (I'm not sure what) and gave me my account # so I could mail in an additional check to cover that. I was offered the chance to pay by credit card, but I'm not usually in the habit of giving that information unless I initiate the call.

As the Sac Sports Commission website says something about the NCAA seating requirements/preferences holding up the seating configurations....I assume that won't happen till later summer at least...... which is when they would then start assigning seats...when the configuration is settled.

I got the call and the hit up for more money, as above. Contemplating court action as the original application could be considered a contract, particularly re the excess charges and final amount. Almost got abusive as "handling charges" get added on, as discussed earlier on this site; Ticketmasteritis, I guess. The original written application had a choice of sections to put down, so even without the formation finished at least some wishes for seats have been made. They still haven't cashed my check.

Already starting off to be the worst Final Four ever? Sad.

Yeah, but after 2006 there's nowhere to go but down.
