Long Beach State site shows Alexis Crimes as Big West 2006 POY. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo site says Kyle Atherstone was a CO POY for the Big West Conference in 2006. What is it?

Unfortunately the SLO players will NOT be eligible for All-American because the coach at SLO is NOT a member of the AVCA and the coach must be a member in order for his players to be considered for AVCA All-American.......great recruitment tool, eh

Somehow that has something to do with the topic at hand?
BTW:
Why LBSU called Crimes POY rather than Co-POY?
Do they like misrepresenting things of that nature?

Hello, we are talking about Big West awards not the AVCA!
I guess when you get older, you start not only having dentures but also signs of dementia which lead to Alzheimer's. et. al!

Atherstone should have been the outright Big West Player of the Year. Saw both Crimes and Atherstone play this past season, Crimes is okay....but Atherstone is great!!!

Yeah, it is really hurts Cal Poly's recruiting. Cal Poly got two of the top 40 recruits in the country (first time, I believe, they have ever landed a top-40 player). Long Beach State, on the other hand, got ... nada, zilch, zippo, nothing, bupkus. Not even a new toupee.

There's something inherently funny seeing someone that rather frequently makes snide comments about other teams, players, coaches, and posters get his panties in a bunch after someone asks why the snidely one's team would do something that seems a bit disengenuous. Enjoy your cow in the basement.

I would think that the school would pay for AVCA memberships and such. It's job-related and in the best interest of the school and its athletes.

Atherstone is a great athlete. I have to agree with tsunami, I think she deserved the award to herself over Alexis Crimes this season.
Any Cal Poly fans out there care to give their input on how the team is looking for next year?
