Could someone tell me when a DI coach could come to a recruits home for a visit? Is this common or a thing of the past? Thanks

Before you serve them dinner (or lunch), find out beforehand what kind(s) of food they like and dislike. Then, serve them what they dislike. For example, if you discover that a certain head coach is a vegan, serve him/her a steak dinner. And make sure they swallow every last bite.

Any time after July 1 of your daughter's senior year (excluding Quiet and Dead Periods). If your daughter is playing in a tournament, the coach cannot do a home visit while the tournament is running. For instance, assuming you live near the site of a qualifier, if the qualifer is running Saturday - Monday, the coach cannot do a home visit on Saturday or Sunday. They could do a home visit after the tournament ends on Monday.

Your daughters's High School and/or Club coach should have a lot of this info for you to help you walk thru the recruiting process. You can also register on the NCAA site and get a ton of specific info if you wish to wade thru it.
