Canadian Love as in Tabi Love that is ? Hawai'i was is Canada at the end of January at a Top Prospect Camp.Is Hawai'i interested in 6'5 OH Tabi Love from Dauphin, Manitoba? I think it might be possible. What I do know is that Hawai'i was there and Paven and Love are the only reason that I can see for them being there.Paven isn't interested in Hawai'i as far as I know so that leaves Love.At 6'5 Love touches 10'2 and plays on the Canadian JO team. I have nothing on her stats but we do have some Canadian folks who come by here who might be able to tell us more about her. I for one would Love having her at UH because I have really good vibes about her.I think she will be the top recruit out of Canada in 09 check it out www.volleyballprospects.ca/content/view/125/1/

I think I saw that article earlier. All I got to say is that you've got to be out of your mind to be making a trip to Calgary in the middle of winter!
Is Love who UH is recruting? I don't know, but UH has had some great basketball players from Canada though.

That would be great news if Tabi Love does come to Hawai'i......we could probably run a 6-2 offense with Brandt and Mafua two great setters and put Tabi at RS for a big block with Herring, Ferrell and Houston shooting bullets on the outside..........SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd think that if Hawaii got this girl, she'd play MB because of her size and because of the throng of OH's Hawaii will constantly have at least until 2009.
Plus Hawaii will be in need of more middles once Sanders and Gregory graduate.
Hawaii looks to have Simmons, Thomas, and possibly Kaufman playing middle for 2008. Once 2009 hits, the Wahine only have Simmons and Kaufman available to play middle. After that, in 2010, it'll be just Simmons.
Hawaii should be done with OH recruiting, especially if Otineru comes back.
Hopefully they can definitely get Love.
****By the way, has Murrey (2008) committed yet? If not, who is she currently looking at right now?

haha. now this is a BIG assumption. At 6'5 ... sophomore!? Anyway ... well its hard to say who the heck they were recrutiing because the article has nothing official ... but I guess one would think that Love would be the best "project." I was looking over her info, and although she is tall, she doesn't seem to have much hop in her. Oh well. what a name though.

No, Houston would have graduated by 2009. So it is feasible for Love to look at Hawaii, especially considering Hawaii would be losing both Houston and Hittle after 2008. However, Hawaii is looking at a few other top outsides to come in. But Herring and Ferrell will also be a tough combination for any player to beat out.

No, I didn't. Hey, I bet you didn't know that only short people can play Libero. 1.) Wazzap a word?- Prove it! 2.) Nope that's where you're wrong, it doesn't matter whether you're tall or short as long as you can pass and defend the BR well. Generally you don't see many tall ppl playing Libero because the tall ones usually often aren't as talented in that department (as shorter ones), or there are strong (short) passers/defenders on the team who are better; can beat out the taller ones.
